Boo Boo the Bear

When he’s not out with Yogi Bear stealing picnic baskets, Boo Boo the Bear spends his time relaxing in the lodge making sure the members at Stone Ridge Lodge don’t get into too much mischief.

Morris the Moose

Where did Morris the Moose live?   An interesting story…shot in British Columbia Canada. in the late 80’s by a man on a dream hunt….the only room tall enough in his house was the garage but he stuck out too far…..so he cut a hole in his bedroom wall so Morris was half in and half out. After he passed away with no relations, everything was given to the neighbor lady next door who moved in with her mother as his house was nicer than hers. She couldn’t wait to get rid of the moose and her bedroom wall repaired.  Morris was sold to a speciality shop just over the border and was the feature moose mount at Cisco’s in Coeur d’Alene, ID where he was spotted and purchased by Dale Zoerb.  With the help of SR# members Jim & Mary Woll Morris was brought to the Stone Ridge Lodge where he is watches over lodge festivities.

Hammerschlagen

Hammerschlagen is a decades old German nail driving competition game. This brand began in Stillwater, MN in the mid-20th Century. The photos below show the condition of the game board in 2016 (left) and in 2017 (right).

Terry the Tiki Tyrant

He is short tempered and stern and his expression says it all. Bought as a joke to demonstrate poor taste in decorating Terry has become a lodge mascot leading the wild Stone Ridge parties!

Wally the Walleye

A fisherman went fishing on Gull Lake, but at the end of the day he hadn’t caught a single fish. On the way back Stone Ridge Lodge, he stopped at a fish store. The fisherman pointed at Wally the Walleye and said to the owner, “I want to buy that fish. But instead of putting it in a bag, throw it to me.”

“Why should I do that?” asked the owner.

“So I can tell everyone that I caught a fish!”
